Battlestar Galactica: The Game is an partially-developed laserdisc video game that recently came to light in September 2007. It was slated to be a conversion for the Firefox cabinet gaming system typically seen in arcades of the time period and based on the Original Series.

It was apparently being developed as early as 1984 by Atari, who were given the license to create the game by then-MCA Universal. The footage from the laserdisc boasts that the game was supposed to be available that summer, which never came to pass as the game was scrapped.

Footage from the game suggests that it was primarily a shoot-em-up, fighter game where the pilot controls a Colonial Viper, shooting down Cylon Raiders.

In addition to ships from the game, the opening sequence also boasts Stu Phillips theme from the series.
