Whiplash is a senior Viper pilot on the battlestar Pegasus ("Pegasus").

He accompanied Admiral Cain's delegation to the Galactica, and showed off his kill markers (38) to fellow pilots Racetrack and Starbuck. He also participated in the briefing about the mysterious Cylon ship, and scoffed Kara Thrace's suggesting that they use the Blackbird for the forthcoming recon mission on the Cylon unknown (Pegasus).

During the tensions with Galactica's Viper squadrons, he toyed with Kat, attempting to engage hostilities. Fortunately for all persons concerned, the situation did not escalate as Whiplash and Kat joined forces to converge upon an unknown DRADIS contact -- later identified as the Blackbird piloted by Thrace (Resurrection Ship, Part I).
