Sad

It's sad that this cat has a better article than some Viper pilots. "Never try to outstubborn a cat." said Heinlein. --Steelviper 11:50, 13 March 2007 (CDT)

Oh, I understand the sentiment. And there's not really anything to add to Greenback that I'm aware. In fact, I sort of keep that article on a stack as an exemplar of a tiny article anyway, as it is unlikely to ever grow beyond its current state. Just a humorous example of a cat getting more screen time and dialogue devoted to it than a human character, even though in all honesty it'd be a pretty boring show if they fleshed out each and every minor character that was named or mentioned. --Steelviper 12:44, 13 March 2007 (CDT)

A Name?

A recent edit on The Son Also Rises suggests that the cat is named "Lance." Can anyone confirm this from captions and sound analysis? --Spencerian 08:19, 15 March 2007 (CDT)

I will listen to it again but I dont have subtitles to check. --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 10:21, 15 March 2007 (CDT)
I saw this early this morning. In my watching the episode, some of Lampkin's words were unintelligible, so I wasn't going to name the cat something that may have not been a proper name. To be honest, in a few replays, I heard "cat's" or "lad's". However, given the accent, it might very well have been Lance. Or not.-- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 19:45, 15 March 2007 (CDT)
Same as Joe really, I wasnt sure if i actually heard Lance or I heard it because I was listening out for it. Need subtitles really to be sure. --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 04:45, 16 March 2007 (CDT)
