- The Sci Fi Channel will stream the next Season 4 episode, "Six of One", from the official site at 12:00 P.M. Eastern Time on Friday, April 11. As with other content, Sci Fi Pulse video is viewable by U.S. residents only. The U.S. broadcast of the episode on the Sci Fi Channel later that evening remains the same.
- Galacticruise, the 30th anniversary celebration for the original Battlestar Galactica, has added story editor and writer Terrence McDonnell on its guest list. Cabins and event tickets are still available. Sign ups and booking for the cruise end on July 1st, so sign up today! (Maybe those wonderful tax rebate checks will come in handy, eh?)
- After being in development hell for nearly two years, Caprica has been green-lit and will begin production in the spring. In addition, a new series of webisodes and a "social game" will be released around mid-April.[1]
- The Season 3 DVD is out now and packed with extra features! It includes an extended version of "Unfinished Business" with over 25 minutes of extra content, in addition to deleted scenes, featurettes, "The Resistance" webisodes and podcasts. Order it now via Amazon.com.
- BSG composer Bear McCreary is set to perform live April 13 at Los Angeles' Roxy nightclub. Cast members from the show will act as emcees. According to Bear's blog, music will be peformed from all four seasons, a video/documentary will be produced, and some very special guests will attended. [2]
- Battlestar Galactica has received the following 34th Saturn Awards nominations: Best Syndicated/Cable Television Series, Best Presentation on Television, and Best Actor - Edward James Olmos. [3]
