I was perusing some old Penny Arcade and I ran into [http://www.penny-arcade.com/comic/2005/03/27 this]. I thought it appropriate... --[[User:Steelviper|Steelviper]] 22:11, 6 March 2006 (CST) |

Howdy, BMS. Looks like no one's welcomed you yet so I'll do the honors. --Watcher 23:22, 6 January 2006 (EST)
- Welcome aboard! Hope you like it here! If you have any questions, feel free to ask. -- Joe Beaudoin 23:43, 6 January 2006 (EST)
BMS, thanks for your recent contributions. Battlestar Wiki has a list of conventions and practices that we use to keep the text in many articles that involve episodes or characters written in present tense. Characters are always "doing" when you read or watch them, so "Gina shoots Cain" rather than "Gina shot Cain," to take an example. Please read this Standards article to guide you in helping to keep the articles with a consistent voice. --Spencerian 10:07, 16 January 2006 (EST)
- Ah, I apoligize. I was trying to keep my tenses consistent, ironically, and apparrently I had them consistently wrong. :-P Thanks for the tip --BMS 14:33, 16 January 2006 (EST)
- THANKS JOE!!!! Mwaahahaha. I AM KRAETOS.
- Ahem. oo testing out the sig now --Kraetos 23:08, 7 February 2006 (EST)
- No problem. Just wanted to make sure the renameuser extension worked before I went to town. :-) I also took the license and changed your user page a bit. Hope you don't mind. -- Joe Beaudoin 23:20, 7 February 2006 (EST)
- No worries. The page is currently undergoing an extensive rewrite. --Kraetos 23:25, 7 February 2006 (EST)
Scar png's
I was thinking about cleaning up some of the Scar png's you posted. I already jpg'ed the Scar-firing one and added it to the episode page. Do you want me to jpeg the other two on the Scar talk page, and put them on the Island? Or just delete them? (Or just leave them alone and mind my own business?) I try to make sure that pics are either being used, or deleted to make room for more pics. --Steelviper 16:59, 9 February 2006 (EST)
- If their unused, delete them. Also, should I be uploading JPEGs? PNGs are higher quality (don't have artifacts, scale better, etc...) , so I figured thats how I should go. Most wiki images and the main logo are PNGs so I thought we were already on the PNG format. Let me know how to upload and I shall upload accordingly. --Kraetos 23:02, 9 February 2006 (EST)
- JPEG is best in this case. Generally one uses JPEGs for photo-quality images and PNGs for logos and line art. --Peter Farago 23:20, 9 February 2006 (EST)
This is a ridiculous question but do you have a different screename on other BSG sites? I have the half-remembered feeling this was mentioned before...--The Merovingian 17:59, 12 February 2006 (EST)
- This is the only BSG site I'm active on. I can be found elsewhere on the internet under BlueManScott, Kraetos, and BMS to a lesser extent. I'm switching most of my online identies over to Kraetos these days. (I use BMS when I want to remain somewhat anonymous. However, I've seen more than one other BMS out there so I tend to stay away from it.) --Kraetos 18:42, 12 February 2006 (EST)
- Day asked about it on Battlestar Wiki talk:Standards and Conventions#Image Format a while back. --Peter Farago 18:22, 12 February 2006 (EST)
