Frimp is a mild derogatory, innocuous term. It is a Colonial term to denote a person who is ill-informed or performs an act of idiocy. It is the Earth equivalent of "idiot" or "moron".

The only Colonial that uses it extensively is Starla. She calls a fellow Super Scout a frimp when describing an apple from the scout handbook Troy procured (The Super Scouts, Part I) and she later asks her fellow Scouts if Marcy is a frimp at the Griffith Park Observatory (The Night the Cylons Landed, Part I).
