Ovions are reptilian creatures that manage a mysterious gambler's paradise on the planet Carillon (Saga of a Star World)
The Ovions use Carillon's playground to attract and trap humans, which are used as food.
The Ovions would provide the Cylons fuel in exchange for their freedom from the Cylon Empire.
