Lord Cain is the commanding officer aboard Pegasus.
For a time, Lord Cain and Lady Athena engage in a romantic relationship that Archduke Adama disapproves of.
Athena believes that Cain perished aboard Pegasus during the Cylonic attack against the Twelve Colonial Empires (Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 1).
A message purporting to be from Cain reaches Adama, summoning Galactica to Gemini. However, this proves to be a mere ruse, as a fleet of Cylonics lead by Baltar await Adama and his small fleet of six ships (Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 2).
