I'm really torn about having this in the article namespace... I believe there needs to be an article covering fan fiction. On the other hand I believe that we need to be Vigilant when it comes to adding anything remotely fanon to the Wiki. So... all I'm really saying right now is that we should make sure that none of the fanon spills over into any of the other articles. O.K.? -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 09:45, 7 April 2006 (CDT)

Understood. The extent of ALL fan fiction information should live within this article, or in subpages of this article if necessary. All other articles are subject to Vigilant Verification. I think this article might be a healthy outlet for the fan fiction information, and may prove to be a useful resource. --Steelviper 10:05, 7 April 2006 (CDT)
IMO, this isn't any different from the Golden Toaster Awards article. It's possible to cover fandom topics without endorsing them. --April Arcus 10:28, 7 April 2006 (CDT)
I just added a hideous large but hopefully clear disclaimer to aid in this, explaining and reinterating what BSG Wiki is and is not. Please improve upon it as you see fit, but this should get the point across to differentiate us from the fanfic links listed. --Spencerian 09:12, 22 May 2006 (CDT)
I re-added the "fandom" tag, which was supposed to have a similar effect as the disclaimer. The broken image on the template is distracting, though, and I may remove it until such time that the image gets created/uploaded. --Steelviper 09:28, 22 May 2006 (CDT)
BTW, the 2nd Golden Toaster Awards nominations are starting April 13th, and there will be a lot more buzz about them. We keep telling "Mrs. Ron" about it, and we're hoping that the production team will keep getting more wind of it. Truly, I've never seen anything like this: every SINGLE fansite that we could find is involved in this. Many times bigger than last year. Watch, it's going to be big. --The Merovingian (C - E) 13:35, 7 April 2006 (CDT)

Shouldn't all fan fiction related articles be sub-pages according to this?

This is a tad confusing. There is Fan fiction/Battlestar GalactiSimpsons, Fan fiction/Gemicon and Fan fiction/MrsRon Essay. But then there are own articles for Frak party, Beyond the Red Line and Golden Toaster Awards. Shouldn't those be subpages too? With maybe redirects?

And maybe link to our own pages to "frak party" and "Beyond the Red Line" in this article instead of directly to the external sites. Or both. --Serenity 11:54, 16 July 2007 (CDT)

Yeah, we should really make two of those pages subpages to this one; Frak Party, however, should probably remain separate as RDM have adopted the term, and there is a "frak party" podcast to boot. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Sanctuary Wiki — New 20:40, 16 July 2007 (CDT)
Ok, will do that. Golden Toaster Awards will be a bit more complicated, since it has subpages of its own. --Serenity 04:36, 17 July 2007 (CDT)
