Raptor 3 is the designation of one of three Raptors deployed to scout the planet Kobol, following Sharon Valerii and Alex Quartararo's initial discovery.

Raptor 3 is destroyed with all hands, including its pilot, ECO, eight specialists, and four Colonial Marines, after colliding with a Cylon Raider upon entering orbit (TRS: "Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II").
