Bow is a new Viper pilot recruit who is left in command of Cadets Cree and Shields. He is the first to notice a flash of light emanating off Arcta's surface, and is in striking range of the Ravashol pulsar when it kills him. He is only the first of a few casualties of the weapons-deployed Pulsar (TOS: "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero, Part I").
