Terry Dresbach (MrsRon) on August 8th, 2006 started a fan-contest for an essay on Why I Like Battlestar Galactica. The essay submissions where to be posted on a SciFi.com forum thread. The essays will be sent to the writing staff at which they will narrow it down to the semi's.[1] Terry and her husband, Ronald D. Moore, are going to pick the best entires and choose three winners. Winners will be announced a month before the Season 3 premiere. Submissions end on September 15, 2006.[1]

Guidelines for Entries

  • The subject is Why I Like Battlestar Galactica.
  • Minimum of 700 words. Maximum of 1500.

Prizes

1st Place
  • A copy of your favorite Battlestar Galactica episode script, autographed by Ronald D. Moore and/or the credited writer of the episode, with a note to you, by name.
  • A container of Mrs. Ron's meat sauce.
