- For the canonical character from whom this depiction is based, see: Cassiopeia.
- For other separate continuities from other comics and novelization sources, see: Cassiopeia (alternate).
Queen Cassiopeia is one of two leaders of the border world Rising Star.
She wars with her sister, Queen Sheba, over whom has the most right to rule Rising Star.
Starbuck takes advantage of this situation by romancing both sisters, as well as taking jobs that he could not deliver on in order to obtain money (Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 1).
In exchange for their assistance, Starbuck offers himself in bonded servitude to both of the Queens—who mutually despise one another (Steampunk Battlestar Galactica 1880 4).
Notes
- While not directly specified, Sheba may not have been the daughter of Lord Cain, given that Cassiopeia is also her sister. Aside from the name, Cassiopeia shares very few traits with her Original Series counterpart.
