Welcome to Battlestar Wiki!

Welcome to the Wiki, Lgamser. Feel free to tell us about yourself on your user page. Before you get started on other edits, please read the Battlestar Wiki:Standards and Conventions, which details the policies we use in editing pages (this differs from many other wikis in consistent use of phrasing, abbreviations, format, and the like).

Also, if you have any questions or suggestions you wish to offer, please feel free to do so either on your user talk page, the Wikipedian Quorum or Administrators' noticeboard. Remember to sign your posts on any talk pages using four tildes (~~~~)! --The Merovingian (C - E) 00:00, 9 May 2006 (CDT)

Preview

Been looking through the recent changes and its totally chocker full of edits from you. Now this is great and all but some are incredibly minor and I was wondering if you are just pressing submit after each change to see what it looks like and forgetting that the "show preview" button will also display a copy of the page before saving so you can see your errors --Mercifull 08:20, 9 May 2006 (CDT)

Using Talk and Article Updates

Hi, there. Thanks for defending the content (if not the article per se) for the Sagitarrian Spaceways article. Aired content or official notices from Sci-Fi.com, Ron Moore, or others are the only sources we can accept here on the Wiki. Despite their connection to the show, Zoic is not an official source unless the content they discuss has actually been in an aired episode, since Zoic has been asked, apparently, to fill in details that may have been left on the cutting room floor, not yet aired, or reserved for internal use. Since this is yet another Intersun-type liner like the Olympic Carrier, I'd prefer to merge your content to the larger Intersun Passenger Cruiser article later today.

Remember not to use the actual article itself to alert other contributors as you did with your last edit today. The Talk page is for that. Also, to make it easier for all of us to keep track of discussions in the order of response, please update below the last comment added to the Talk page, add a response to an existing topic, or create a new topic using the + button at the top of the article. Thanks again. If you have questions, feel free to respond to me on my Talk page or you can ask any admin to help on the administrator's noticeboard. --Spencerian 08:59, 11 May 2006 (CDT)

Reverts

I've had to revert a number of your edits. Please review my edit summaries on recent changes, and our citation policy. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask me. --April Arcus 00:31, 30 May 2006 (CDT)

Minor Edits

Simple errors, spelling, typos, and changes of a word that means the same thing, are minor. Removal, Adding Large Text, etc., major changes shouldn't be marked minor. --Shane (T - C - E) 23:30, 4 June 2006 (CDT)

Gemon Liners

To clarify Shane's rollback: Fan sites are never to be used a citations for official information as they are not reliable. See Battlestar Wiki:Citation Jihad for more on what are considered official sources. --Spencerian 03:21, 16 October 2006 (CDT)

Sanity.com

Any particular reason why you removed the Sanity.com.au link from Battlestar Galactica - Season Two (Region 4 DVD)? Just curious. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Sanctuary Wiki — New 21:08, 4 October 2007 (CDT)
