Welcome to Battlestar Wiki!

Welcome to the Wiki, D-rex. Tell us about yourself on your user page. We have a template that lets you put some information about yourself in a nice-looking box.

Battlestar Wiki is an encyclopedia on officially-licensed stories, aired episodes, and other products of the Battlestar universes. Make sure that your contributions fit Battlestar Wiki's purpose, avoiding what we aren't.

Our editing standards and conventions policies may differ from other wikis, especially in verb tense and voice, capitalization and the like. Please read this policy. We have an editing tutorial and wiki markup codes to help you.

Our policies on original research differ from places such as Wikipedia. We allow some research based on aired episode content, but don't allow speculation that isn't supported from episode events.

Battlestar Wiki's many projects help improve our content. Are you an Original Series fan? Help out in the Original Series Article Project. Non-English versions of Battlestar Wiki also need contributors, and helpers for our podcast transcriptions are also welcome. New projects should be brought to our Think Tank, where we hash out large-scale ideas before implementing them.

Any questions about an article can be entered on the article's talk page. General questions about the wiki can be brought to the Quorum or the administrators' noticeboard. To sign your posts on any talk page, just enter four tildes (~~~~)!

We look forward to your contributions to the community! --Spencerian 15:20, 22 May 2007 (CDT)

Belgian flag

Added BEL BEL to Battlestar Wiki:Other airdates. Our black background makes the left part of the flag look ugly (if you look really closely, you'll see the flag is slightly blacker than the background), but we can't really fix that, unfortunately.

BTW, are you Belgian yourself? If that's the case, I hope VT4 will keep airing BSG (all seasons), and not just drop it mid-season. Over here in the Netherlands, Veronica aired Season 1 and waited two years before they aired Season 2, which they just stopped airing mid-season. Hopefully VT4 will be more reliable. But then again, at least Veronica seemed to care about BSG and aired it prime time (20:30 every Thursday), whereas VT4 airs a 2-hour miniseries at Sunday night 23:05, which probably indicates they don't really care. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 07:55, 23 May 2007 (CDT)

Yes, I'm from Belgium and a first hour fan of the old series. Scifi has never been that popular here in Belgium, and although the airing time is a bit disappointing, I didn't expect anything else. Nice wiki, BTW --D-rex 14:46, 23 May 2007 (CDT)
Thanks, we've put a lot of work in it. The airtime is nasty, I'll bet more VCRs than actual people will be watching ;) BTW, as a manner of interest, are you Flemish or Wallonian? Does VT4 subtitle BSG in both languages? --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 14:50, 23 May 2007 (CDT)
Adapted my user page, so you'll see I'm Flemish. I'm even not sure whether BSG hasn't been aired in Wallonia yet, will check it out. Flanders and Wallonia have their own Tv-channels, so everything is dubbed in one language. BTW, VT4 is part of the same group as Veronica no? (SBS). And I reckon you are Dutch? --D-rex 14:54, 23 May 2007 (CDT)
From Harlingen, Friesland (up North). Do you mean dubbing as in the actors speaking Flemish? Thank God they don't do that over here and just use subtitles for everything. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 15:44, 23 May 2007 (CDT)
Sorry, no, meant subtitles --D-rex 00:54, 24 May 2007 (CDT)
Good, then at least if they're incorrect (as the Dutch ones sometimes have been), you'll notice. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 07:40, 24 May 2007 (CDT)
