Season Two Comments[edit]

Sci-Fi just officially announced the second season of BSG has been confirmed, thank the Lords of Kobol! Kuralyov 18:06, 9 Feb 2005 (EST)

Frakin' A[edit]

About time they got off their business suited asses and did something right for a change.  :-) --Joe Beaudoin 19:34, 9 Feb 2005 (EST)

Season 2 was more-or-less on the cards: the UK ratings cambined with international interest shown via bulletin boards, etc., demonstrated Universal had a market for the show; all that was needed were initial US ratings (hence the announcement after only 5 episodes aired, rather than hanging-fire and taking stock after the majority of the season had aired), to confirm the US domestic market.

Episode Guide Comments[edit]

Is there any reason for the sub-headings ("Part I" and "Part II") under the mini-series in the episode guide list? Given the excellent analysis Joe has put together (with ample opportunity for additions on notes, etc.), the sub-heading appear redundant - epecially when the mini hasn't necessarily been aired in two parts in all markets. Such a split could also cause irritation should information be split between the two sub-articles (given the need for people to page back and forth). IF such a split is needed - why not simply include the two parts as sub-headings within the main mini-series article?

Please DO NOT Seperate the Mini-Series Entry[edit]

While I understand the mini-series was aired as two parts in different markets (and even a truncated 3 hour version on USA's NBC TV), the entire 4 hour mini is considered one (1) piece of work.

Therefore, please (for the love of the Lords of Kobol) do not separate the entry on the Episode Guide page. (Or otherwise I will correct again and again until the skin of my fingers becomes raw and the keyboard becomes one big red blot on my desk.)

Thank you for your attention. -- Joe Beaudoin 17:56, 2 May 2005 (EDT)

SciFi.com Summaries?[edit]

Joe, what's the low-down on using scifi.com's episode summaries? I was thinking we could add it to our summary as a separate section, i.e., the "fan" summary (which is more in depth), and the "offical" summary (which is more like a blurb). Could we do this, as long as we give credit and link to scifi.com, or would it mess with copyrights too much? Colonial one 16:23, 27 August 2005 (EDT)

I don't see why not. It should be in its own separate section, however. --

Joe Beaudoin 17:28, 27 August 2005 (EDT)

My thoughts exactly. Will start on that. Colonial one 21:06, 27 August 2005 (EDT)
Tried it out here for starters. See new section 3. Comments/input from all welcomed. Colonial one 21:19, 27 August 2005 (EDT)

Episode 5 and 6[edit]

Before Exodus was decided to be a 2-parter, didn't I read that Episode 5 and 6 was a two-parter (Episodes 5 and 6 are a two-part story in which Galactica discovers a dying Cylon Baseship, and deals with a plague that has befallen the Cylons) which would now be Episode 6 and 7 with "Hero" being Episode 8, Unfinished Business, 9, etc. I don't think the second part (originally 6) has been titled or maybe it just part II. Could "Hero" be the second part? However, "Hero" has been referred as Episode 7 for awhile--FrankieG 19:53, 28 July 2006 (CDT)

I am confused... --Shane (T - C - E) 19:55, 28 July 2006 (CDT)
Sorry Merv! I missed this your reply here. Merv is ahead of me again :-). --FrankieG 20:03, 28 July 2006 (CDT)

Navigation Links To Episode Guide Portal Requested[edit]

Can some administrator who knows how please add a link to this page in the left-hand navigation structure? This page is probably THE most important page in the whole wiki !

Also, I don't see any kind of "site map" anwhere. Ace Frahm 17:23, 15 December 2007 (CST)

The sidebar links are doable... but a sitemap is unnecessary, since we already have both a Portal and a category system, both of which work much the same way as a site map. :) -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Sanctuary Wiki — New 17:28, 15 December 2007 (CST)
I think it's a sensible request. I don't use the page that often, but there were some instances where searching for it took unnecessarily long because it's somewhat hidden. --Serenity 05:30, 16 December 2007 (CST)
