This is one of the places where our new spoiler policy (whichever it is) will need to be vigilantly enforced. Gina is listed as having appeared in Resurrection Ship, which of course has not aired yet. --Fang Aili 16:02, 13 September 2005 (EDT)
We also need to standardize names. We have "Coztanza", "Kat / Katraine", "Sekou Hamilton", etc. I would advocate first last just like the article titles -- it took me a second to figure out who "Conoy" was. --Redwall 23:18, 15 September 2005 (EDT)
Downloaded[edit]
Why does someone keep on removing the entries for Downloaded regarding Leoben and Simon. Even if they are doubles, I believe they are intended to be those characters. I can't concieve of any point for introducing new Cylons in the background who look sorta like two we already know, but are not, and furthermore, not telling us about them. The fact that they don't have any dialogue or anything (which might make it clearer that it was a double), implies that they are the same models. --mojorisng1985 18:07, 25 February 2006 (EST)
- We know as fact that they are indeend intended to represent Simon and Leoben, from RDM's podcast, but nonetheless in terms of keeping track of actors this doesn't count, etc. And "why does someone" keep doing that: check the history page; the reasons are in the summary sentence for the edits.--The Merovingian 19:07, 25 February 2006 (EST)
- But the page isn't about the actors playing them, it is about the characters. If Simon appears in more than one episode, he is a recurring character, even if the actor is different. The name of the page was "recurring characters", not "recurring actors". If the purpose of the page is to "keep track of the actors", than perhaps someone should change the name of the page to "List of Recurring Actor Apperances."--mojorisng1985 19:13, 25 February 2006 (EST)
- Nonetheless, I strongly feel that this does not count. We will await consensus on this matter here on this Discussion page. In the meantime, refrain from making any further edits. --The Merovingian 19:24, 25 February 2006 (EST)
- So far, two users are in favor of putting the characters in, while one isn't. It has been shown that they are intended to be the actual characters, so they should be included in this page, which is after all the recurring character' article. It is true that they are not the same actors; but as has already been shown, that is why we have a separate recurring actors page. And as to the argument that they shouldn't be added because it's not sure if they're the exact same individual that we've sene before, that same argument would mean that every Cylon in that episode would have to be removed from appearing in that episode. Your argument has nothing to rest on, and you are outvoted in any regards, and I will ask you not to continue to be a sore loser. Kuralyov 22:43, 8 March 2006 (CST)
- I am not in favor of including them, under the circumstances, since they neither had lines nor were played by their regular actors. That makes it a tie vote, anyway. Anyone else? --April Arcus 01:33, 9 March 2006 (CST)
Dualla apperances[edit]
I've figured out all of Dualla's season 1 appearances: I can confirm her in all episodes of season 2, except for Home Part II and Downloaded. Was Dualla in either of these episodes? (Some of the other episodes she is heard over wireless but not seen, in others she is seen but does not speak, but she's there). --The Merovingian (C - E) 15:27, 22 July 2006 (CDT)
- Dee is in Home Pt. 1. She speaks with Adama before he goes to and makes his statement about reuniting the fleet. She is also in the CIC for that scene. --Talos 15:41, 22 July 2006 (CDT)
- Typo. I meant part II. --The Merovingian (C - E) 16:02, 22 July 2006 (CDT)
- She's at the ceremony at the end, standing next to Billy. --Talos 16:18, 22 July 2006 (CDT)
- Typo. I meant part II. --The Merovingian (C - E) 16:02, 22 July 2006 (CDT)
Six[edit]
Number Six is a series regular- Gina and Caprica-Six are still Sixes, and are played by the same, series-leading actress. I vote we remover her from this list.Ragestorm 19:17, 5 April 2006 (CDT)
- True. However... they are different Sixes and therefore I don't believe a removal isn't necessary. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 19:41, 5 April 2006 (CDT)
- It's fun and helps people who can't keep track of the names. I'm with Joe. --The Merovingian (C - E) 20:35, 5 April 2006 (CDT)
- This does raise some issues. Is Caprica-Sharon the main character, wth Galactica-Sharon a recurring role? If we see Caprica-Six's internal Baltar again, does that make him another recurring character played by a series lead? --April Arcus 00:16, 6 April 2006 (CDT)
I think Galactica-Sharon was supposed to be the regular, but they switched after her death (again, same actress, so not a problem. Following this current pattern, Internal-Baltar will also be recurring- if Internal-Six vanished, then Caprica would be the regular, while Internal would be the recurring- you're right, this pattern is good! Ragestorm 11:29, 6 April 2006 (CDT)
- True, they never even thought up Caprica-Sharon during the Miniseries. However, unlike Number Six, I don't think these two are quite at that point. Caprica-Six and Gina are kind of "guest" recurring characters of a regular, while the Boomers are both Boomer. My point is really that they're in so many more episodes that it's kind of redundant. Yes for the Six variants, no for the Boomer variants. With the return of Galactica-Sharon, perhaps by the end of season three they'll interact a lot and hate each other or whatever, to the point of being individual characters who we mark their appearance separately. Whatever. Just leave it as it is for the foreseeable future. --The Merovingian (C - E) 15:19, 6 April 2006 (CDT)
Mentions?[edit]
Should we also note on this page whether or not the character is mentioned but not seen? For instance, Stinger is mentioned in "The Captain's Hand", Hadrian in "Valley of Darkness", and so on. Thoughts? -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 14:08, 20 October 2006 (CDT)
