Agents living in Delphi

Regarding this quote:

"The city was already populated by copies of Numbers Three, Five, Six, and Eight (Leoben Conoy and Simon copies were also seen, but the original actors were not used, and they were not numbered). "

Unless I'm mistaken, RDM stated that we only see them because he didn't want to reveal anymore Cylons, yet it's implied that Cylons of every model live here, is it not?--Sauron18

Yeah that's the only reason we "saw" those particular ones. --The Merovingian (C - E) 23:01, 12 April 2006 (CDT)

Major Landmarks

According to this edit comment, Shane believes it unsafe to claim the Delphi Museum of the Colonies as a "major landmark" without a citation. This seems absurd to me. Other opinions? --April Arcus 14:48, 25 June 2006 (CDT)

Top right picture

Are we sure this is Delphi? I always thought it is just another city on Caprica. It isn't explicitly said on screen. Delphi seems to have survived pretty much unharmed. That city on the other hand was in the way of a nuclear shockwave. We also have the Telamont Building standing pretty much alone in its area. Of course it's possible, that it isn't in downtown Delphi and that the city has a real skyline. But as said, I wouldn't be so sure that this is actually supposed to be Delphi. --Serenity 07:20, 18 May 2007 (CDT)

Good point. Comparing it, it looks to be the skyscape of Caprica City. We should probably use the Telamont building, weak as it is, instead, unless there is a higher resolution picture of the Telemont/Delphi skyline. --Spencerian 07:27, 18 May 2007 (CDT)
I uploaded a better version of the building. Prior to that there is also a pan to the right that shows lots of lowrises, slightly sloping up. No skyscrapers in sight, so either there are none, or the area is in the outskirts of the city. That other city could also be a random city, Starbuck is overflying. Can someone rename that pic on Mediawiki to "CityOnCaprica.jpg" or something? --Serenity 07:44, 18 May 2007 (CDT)
The screenshot comes from "Kobol's Last Gleaming, Part II", where Kara Thrace has been dispatched directly to Delphi to retrieve the Arrow of Apollo. Why would she pass by the ruins of Caprica City to get there, which must be many miles away? --April Arcus 15:01, 7 June 2007 (CDT)
It doesn't have to be Caprica City, and I don't think it is, but it's not Delphi either. For whatever reason Delphi remains pretty much intact. But that skyline is destroyed. Starbuck could have overflown any number of cities on the way to Delphi. --Serenity 15:07, 7 June 2007 (CDT)
Actually, flying over Caprica City isn't even that unlikely. Starbuck jumps into Carpican orbit, and has to descend somewhere. The most recognizable place from her perspective could very well be Caprica City, from where she'd know how to find Delphi. Not everyone is a topography ace and just flies in the right direction immediately. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 15:13, 7 June 2007 (CDT)

Restructuring of the article

In light of what Joe said in the FA debate, I had an idea on how to change the article. A chronological episode listing really isn't the best. So there could be "geography" which can give an overview on where Delphi lies and maybe the part about the C-Bucs and the mountains. Then "Buildings and landmarks" which can list things like Telamont Building, the musuem and Starbucks apartment. And lastly "Cylon use" which contains the part about the farm nearby and all the stuff from "Downloaded". Comments? --Serenity 16:33, 20 May 2007 (CDT)

I redid the article and while it might still not be perfect, I think it looks much better now :) --Serenity 07:19, 21 May 2007 (CDT)

Looks good; it does read better. --Spencerian 08:37, 21 May 2007 (CDT)

Overlinking edit

It is edits like the overlinking of Caprica City that really make the FA process worthwhile to me, in that you get a lot more eyes on a given article. --Steelviper 14:21, 7 June 2007 (CDT)
