Where did the phrase "the night of blood and fire" come from? --Mercifull 04:42, 7 April 2006 (CDT)

Yes, this article badly needs a citation. --April Arcus 09:30, 7 April 2006 (CDT)
The "night of blood and fire" came from the video game... I don't think it was ever mentioned in the series, though. (And I really don't see the point in the article, honestly, since this is more than aptly covered by the Cylon War article.) -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 09:31, 7 April 2006 (CDT)
Motion to redirect this article to Cylon War? --Mercifull 09:41, 7 April 2006 (CDT)

Disagree - if the term comes from the video game, a redirect to an article pertinent only to RDM continuity is a bad move. This article should be tagged for cleanup; hopefully someone familiar with the video game backstory will be able to attend to it. --April Arcus 10:27, 7 April 2006 (CDT)
I'm going to rent this one and play it and get the backstory source sometime soon, among other things. Why do I get the feeling this will feel as if I'm playing something that might best be described as Galactica 1980:The Video Game...? --Spencerian 13:29, 1 May 2006 (CDT)
Although I support putting all BSG info into BSWiki...when I hear RDM saying he wants to make a video game with RPGish elements but a lot of shooting too based on the series....I actually say "wow, there's never been a video game based on the show"....because it's really not. It's based on Original Series cruft, plus it was made AROUND THE TIME the Miniseries was coming out, so it's just got some bits and pieces of RDM referrences, but it's its own bad continuity. I think people will forget about it eventually. To be honest I dont' think they really say "Night of Blood and Fire" capitalized like that.--The Merovingian (C - E) 14:22, 1 May 2006 (CDT)
