Welcome to Battlestar Wiki!

Welcome to the Wiki, Betty. Feel free to tell us about yourself on your user page. Before you get started on other edits, please read the Standards and Conventions, which details the policies we use in editing pages (this differs from many other wikis in its particular use of verb tense, abbreviations, formatting, and the like). If you need help in learning how to use the MediaWiki tools supported here, you can check out the tutorial and the wiki markup code pages for assistance.

Please read the articles "What is Battlestar Wiki" and "What Battlestar Wiki is Not." This important information details what contributions are acceptable in this encyclopedia.

We encourage you to participate in any projects on Battlestar Wiki, which work to enhance a particular subject or extension of the wiki. These include the Original Series Article Development Project and several language translations of Battlestar Wiki. If you have a new idea for a new project, visit the Think Tank, where we hash out large-scale ideas before implementing them.

Also, if you have any questions or suggestions you wish to offer, please feel free to do so either on an article's talk page that's relevant to the subject, the Wikipedian Quorum or the Administrators' noticeboard. Remember to sign your posts on any talk pages using four tildes (~~~~)!

We look forward to your contributions to the community! --Mercifull (Talk/Contribs) 07:59, 15 February 2007 (CST)

Recent rollback

Betty, I rolled back your deletions of notes about Leah Cairn's use of what would normally be fan fiction as part of her character's motivations on the Margaret Edmondson and The Woman King articles. As the two actors involved has stated their appreciation of it, and the episode "The Woman King" made a subtle effort to play on this notion (which, in part, means it was acceptable to the director and writers of the episode), the information is germane and stands appropriate information for the wiki. If you had another reason to delete the information other than our blanket rule of fan fiction, please notify me on my talk page. Thanks. --Spencerian 08:32, 3 March 2007 (CST)

Please discuss your reasons for removing these sections - as you just did again - before just doing so. What you are doing is considered vandalism. --Serenity 06:06, 7 March 2007 (CST)

Recent rollback redux

Betty, you have removed the sections containing sourced and verified information regarding the character interactions between Helo and Racetrack without explaination. As this is the second time you have done so, and since you are clearly not open to discussing it, I have no other choice but to consider this an act of deliberate vandalism and have blocked your account for 48 hours. After the 48 hours, you are strongly encouraged to discuss your actions on the Wiki's discussion pages to the articles in question (i.e. Talk: Margaret Edmondson and Talk:The Woman King). You may appeal this decision by contacting me directly via e-mail (joe.beaudoin AT gmail DOT com). Thank you for your attention. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 08:40, 7 March 2007 (CST)

Blocked forever.

You have been blocked from editing Battlestar Wiki for repeated vandalism. If or when the block expires, please refrain from vandalizing or this account will face longer blocks, and action could be taken against the individual who uses it.

Further more you have not replied or commented on why this removal should occur. You are welcome to come back to the Wiki after one year to appeal your block. If you feel this is unjustified move on our part, please contact the admins at email adddress: administrator at battlestarwiki dot org
