Any ideas on how to improve this further? Hiding the table of content would content would be nice, but I can't remember how that's done.
I can't think of any other prominent uses of the seal at the moment. I know it's on the ready room podium, but that's really just a version of ship's seal.
Making a DVD screencap of the CIC logo (from "33") would be nice to get rid of the SkyOne logo. Then that can be placed at the top of the article, so you don't need to scroll down to get a picture. I can do that tomorrow if no one else gets around to it. Also cool would be a better picture of Galacticas hull seal, but the only good one I found is on the ZOIC schematics on ship's page. That would probably have to be a HD source though.
Personally, I think of the bird as a phoenix for some reason, but that's probably personal interpretation that doesn't belong here. --Serenity 16:47, 6 August 2007 (CDT)

Egyptian symbolism[edit]
I'm not too familiar with the Original Series. Is there such a seal like this in the Original Series? If there is, then that can defiantly be another connection to Egyptian mythology and symbolism, such as the pryamid-shaped buildings in Caprica... Just a thought.
