Lt. Margaret "Racetrack" Edmondson is a female Raptor ECO aboard battlestar Galactica, and due to manpower shortages often moonlights as a Raptor pilot. Racetrack tends to have a dark, fairly cynical attitude after the Cylon attack. Racetrack accompanied Galactica-Sharon on a mission to destroy a Cylon Basestar in orbit of Kobol by sneaking inside with a nuclear warhead, and soon after witnessed Boomer's attempted assasination of Commander William Adama. Boomer was subsequently killed by Cally, leaving Racetrack the only surviving member of the Colonial Fleet that has ever seen the inside of a Basestar. Racetrack has unresolved tensions with fellow Raptor ECO Karl "Helo" Agathon. Later, it was Racetrack who discovered the habitable planet New Caprica, when her Raptor strayed from a rescue mission.
