Soltis's television career has landed him in minor roles in popular television shows such as Stargate SG-1 Smallville and the Showtime Network's The L-Word.
Soltis has enjoyed a role in the TV movie 10.5 and the feature film X-Men 2 (directed by Bryan Singer, who was forced to abandon a Original Series revival effort to direct this film).
Soltis had a brief role as the husband of the young mother, Chantara, in the succeeding "re-imagined" Battlestar Galactica miniseries.
