Galactica has a makeshift daycare center, built to accommodate the children of the many civilian refugees who were taken aboard and made Galactica home after New Caprica, as well as crew who started families. Among the children who attend the daycare are Hera Agathon and Nicholas Tyrol (Someone to Watch Over Me).
