- According to Hollywood Reporter, the Sci Fi Channel has announced that Season 4 will be the final season of Battlestar Galactica. Ron Moore and David Eick state that this was a creative decision by the staff.
- The Sci Fi Channel has launched a Dutch version for the Netherlands. The channel premieres on May 30th with a back-to-back airing of Miniseries, Night 1 and Miniseries, Night 2.
