Mini-Series stuff

edit

Thanks for the help changing some of the Mini-Series -> Miniseries links, was getting quite a bore for me hehe --Mercifull 11:04, 1 April 2006 (CST)

Welcome to the Wiki. Feel free to tell us about yourself on your user page. Also read the Battlestar Wiki:Standards and Conventions project article, which details the policies we use in editing pages (this differs from many other wikis in consistent use of phrasing, abbreviations, format, and the like). --Spencerian 00:15, 19 January 2006 (EST)

Please remember to sign your comments with four tildes like this: --~~~~. That will automatically add your name and a timestamp. There is also a quick link in the first line of the format box below the text box when editing pages. Just click on it and you're done. --Serenity 13:11, 26 February 2007 (CST)

Recent image and its removal

edit

Hi, there. I'm sorry, but I had to remove (from Battlestar Wiki Media) your Photoshop-rendered version of the cover of the My Triumphs, My Mistakes cover that you added to the article. It was darn close (if not identical) to the original, and I was impressed how fast you made it (I can't make a stick figure in PS to save my life). However, Battlestar Wiki cannot accept fan-rendered artwork or other fan submissions for article content in most instances. Unfortunately, artists (like the Tyrols) are the first against the wall when the text-based MediaWiki revolution comes. :( --Spencerian 15:37, 26 February 2007 (CST)

Sucks. I understand completely new fan-made work can't be added such as a Mark VIII Viper or something, but can't there be an exception for work that closely resembles what we've already seen on the show? Gen00b 17:07, 26 February 2007 (CST)
While it closely replicates what is on screen, it isn't actually the same thing. We prefer a depiction of the actual item in question, rather than a reproduction. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 17:16, 26 February 2007 (CST)
