PPDIOO[1] is a network lifecycle continuous/continual improvement process (CIP) implemented by the colonial military.
Admiral Helena Cain reviews a summary report on PPDIOO's implementation and other topics related to ship and crew status, while Battlestar Pegasus is docked at the Scorpion Fleet Shipyards for a large-scale overhaul, including its network infrastructure, the latter being lead by Gina Inviere of Integral Systems Engineering (Razor).

- PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, and Optimize) is also a network lifecycle implementation and optimization procedure defined by the networking corporation Cisco.
- The short glimpse on the term in Pegasus' report seems to be the only known occurrence throughout the continuity.
