A Cylon Farm, or simply a "Farm", is a term describing Cylon-controlled breeding centers. The purpose of such installations was for the Cylons to create a Human-Cylon hybrid using manipulated embryos, in order to further their mission on obeying the commandment of their God regarding procreation.

Such centers were set up on Caprica where female survivors were captured, incapaciated and impregnated; typically these human "cattle" were hooked up to machines that were tied in tandem with their biological systems.

During an attempt to take a Cylon Heavy Raider from the base at Delphi, Kara Thrace and Sue-Shaun were captured by the Cylons and brought to a medical center. Sue-Shaun was apparenly immediately hooked into the unknown machines, while Thrace was lead to believe that Samuel Anders and others were killed during the ambush while being "treated" by a doctor calling himself Simon.

It was later discovered that Simon was a Humano-Cylon agent; Thrace killed him and happened upon a room where a group of women were hooked up to the machines. Following Sue-Shaun's request that she'd be killed, Thrace destroyed the machinery and escaped the farm, with the aid of a very-much-alive Anders, Karl Agathon and Sharon Valerii.

Valerii later revealed to the resistance that such farms existed all throught Caprica, where hundreds -- if not thousands -- of women were used as breeding apparatuses. However, she claimed that she was unable to provide specifics for she did not access that information. (The Farm)
