Xaviar makes his first introduction to Dr. Donald Mortinson, flanked by the two beat cops (played by Wyatt Johnson and Charlie Brill) who brought him (1980: "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part III").

After returning to 1980 CE, Xaviar attempts to meet up with Dr. Donald Mortinson. He accosts a street-side newspaper vendor, who informs him that taxis typically come in black and white (along with other variations) before stunning him. Believing that a nearby patrol car on a beat is a taxi, Xaviar hails it over, jumps into the back seat of the car, and instructs two beat cops to bring him to the United Broadcasting Company building where Mortinson is being interviewed live. The beat cops follow along in an attempt to ascertain more information on Xaviar's motives, bringing him to the building.

After running into Mortinson, who is making his way out of the building, the hapless beat cops attempt to intervene. Xaviar demonstrates the invisibility field before the cops and Mortinson, and Xaviar makes good on his escape in the back of Mortinson's car (1980: "Galactica Discovers Earth, Part III").

The unnamed beat cops are played by Wyatt Johnson and Charlie Brill, who were identified via computer-aided facial recognition.
