The New Caprica Resistance was formed by Kara "Starbuck" Thrace to resist the Cylon occupation of New Caprica after President Gaius Baltar's surrender. The day the Cylons marched into New Caprica City, Starbuck vowed that they would "find them until we can't" (Lay Down Your Burdens, Part II).
