Despite the immense amount of work contributed to this article, the whole thing seems Telephone-ish to me. Anyone else? --Peter Farago 02:10, 16 April 2006 (CDT)

I concur with CA...generally this is a telephone article, but how the Colonials infight is quite relevant. Moving this article to a new name such as "Assassination attempts" could work, but also note that "assassination" implies a murder of a person in high political or soclal regard. Capping an officer per se doesn't qualify, so some of the items listed here are not true assassinations. --Spencerian 09:47, 17 April 2006 (CDT)
