Also known as "Iphi" (to rhyme with "Iffy;" jokingly, as in the chance she had of completing a mission). Lt. Iphigenia was the 20-year-old daughter of Commander Magus and sister of Paulus. She and "Husker" Adama were lovers; with her blonde hair and freckles, Iphi was described as looking like Adama's ideal counterpart.
Iphi preferred carefully-planned strategic attacks to tactical strikes, and knew that it would be successful strategies, and not random acts of pilot bravery, that would win the Cylon War for the Colonials; as such, she was at odds with Garris Cain.
Note
The "Battlestar Galactica" video game has its own continuity as a result of its association with the failed Original Series continuation revival in 2001.
- In the Original Series, Commander Adama had married Ila. In the Re-imagined Series, the character of William Adama married Caroline and, later, Anne.
- Iphigenia was voiced in the game by actress Kristanna Loken. Loken had a starring role in the feature film, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, where she portrays a robot agent who, similarly to Cylon agents in the Re-imagined Series, is a machine soldier in a war between humanity and a genocidal machine intelligence.
