  • Ron D. Moore has begun his own blog to chronicle the current Writers Guild of America strike, independent of the (rarely updated) SCIFI.com blog. That blog is here.
  • According to the Los Angeles Times, Battlestar Galactica has been affected by the Writers' Guild of America strike. Specifically, the Times indicates that Galactica has ten hours of programming ready to go, along with Razor.
  • According to Sci Fi Wire, the California Browncoats Firefly fan group is auctioning off a script from "Crossroads, Part II" donated by Mark Sheppard and autographed by fourteen members of the cast and crew. Proceeds go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The eBay auction will run until November 12.
  • According to Wired, tickets are going fast for the November 12 theatrical showings of Razor. The movie will be shown in Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Seattle.
  • According to the LA Times, Season 4 will commence airing in April 2008. Showrunner Ronald D. Moore confirms that he will direct an episode and that no final decision has been made about splitting the season in half and screening it across two years.[1]
