In the novelization of the Miniseries, Kara Thrace comments that Galactica has almost no ammunition because it was offloaded at Rhapsody Station prior to their decommissioning ceremony.
A deleted scene from the Miniseries shows otherwise. Galactica herself, as part of her decommissioning ceremony with the crew, bundles its unneeded ordnance and sends it into space to be remotely detonated and destroyed. The facility of Rhapsody Station is not mentioned anywhere in the Miniseries.
Notes
- The novelization of the Miniseries has other marked differences from the aired or sourced content of the series, such as Natasi (who we would later know as Caprica-Six) and Jane Cally (who we would later find out is the name of Cally Henderson). As a result, these differences makes the novelization a separate continuity from the Re-imagined Series canon.
