- The Sci Fi Channel has confirmed that the fourth season of Battlestar Galactica will be increased from its initial request of 13 episodes to 22 episodes, with a special two-hour extended episode to air during the fourth quarter of 2007. The extended episode will be released later on DVD.[1]

- As reported on the blog, the admin at Scifi.com announced that the season finale will run approximately 5 minutes longer than usual.[2]
- Battlestar Galactica has received four nominations for the 33rd Saturn Awards: Best Series, Best Actor for Edward James Olmos, Best Actress for Katee Sackhoff, Best Supporting Actor for James Callis.[3]
- Sci Fi's Adam Stotsky confirmed a direct-to-DVD movie will be released, focusing on side stories that couldn't be fit into the regular episodes. After the DVD release, Sci Fi will eventually air the movie as well.
