A psycho-electron recall may be a special scan to aid a human in recalling lost or repressed memories.
Understanding that their rescued guest has no memory of the crash that stranded him on a habitable but lifeless planet, Adama orders that Iblis be given a cranial probe and psycho-electron recall after his rescue by the Colonials (TOS: "War of the Gods, Part I").
