Instrumentation of Lunar Avion makes use of equipment designed for Experiment M131 - Human Vestibular Function[1] aboard Skylab.
The hatch and compartment that led to the bridge's corridor of the basestar that Apollo and Starbuck boarded were re-uses of the set designed after Skylab, made for Six Million Dollar Man, a series that Glen A. Larson had a hand in developing and producing.
Colonel Briggs and his aide discuss the projected crash of an unidentified craft (the Cylon A-B Raider), likening it to Skylab's deorbiting, which resulted in debris spreading over the Indian Ocean and Australia in 1979 (1980: "The Night the Cylons Landed, Part I").
