Thanks for all the TOS screen captures. You've accounted for several characters on the TOS development project, and your episode captures are nice as well. However, as April Arcus noted here, your aspect ratio appears to be a bit wide on your full screen captures. I think PowerDVD did the same thing when I tried it, but VLC hasn't had the same issues. The captures end up being normal height, but too wide (720x480 instead of 640x480). I've been downloading and rescaling most of your pics (as they're great), but it'd be nice if that step wasn't necessary. Let me know if you have any issues dealing with capturing at the proper ratio. I'm sure that somebody here would know how to fix it. --Steelviper 14:35, 10 January 2006 (EST) | |||

Hey there. Nice addition to the Carina article. However, I removed the Original Series cross-reference. An interview of the episode's writer, Jane Espenson from this web article notes that the writer has watched very little of the Original Series, making the reference doubtful. (I was thinking that the episode was also a reference to the Straits of Madagon scene from the TOS pilot, but I would also be wrong). --Spencerian 19:09, 13 December 2006 (CST) |

Hi, Skywayman. Thanks for taking up the mantle and getting our TOS pages to the level and consistency they deserve. Most of us are quite pleasantly fixated on the RDM series, but I know I speak for many in appreciation of your work. Spencerian 00:57, 2 October 2005 (EDT)

--Steelviper 14:35, 10 January 2006 (EST)
