Are the interiors of Raiders, Basestars, etc. truly "organic"?  I got the impression that they were synthetic; machines so advanced on a microscopic level that the overall "machine" is a "bio-chemical machine" rather than "organic".  I'm not sure on this so I don't want to make any "demands", but I would like to say that I'm worred that calling it "organic" would lead to confusion that they're somehow Cyborgs; I think they're more a step between purely mechanical Centurions and humanoid Cylons.  Perhaps "bio-mechanical" is a better term?  Discuss. --Ricimer

:It's really just not very clear. I think using "organic" to make a point in opposition to "mechanical" is fine, but since we don't actually know whether or how those two elements interact, I'm a little averse to anything else. --Peter Farago 21:50, 30 December 2005 (EST)

I've marked the page for deletion. Most of this content is redundant, or out of date, and the page needs cleaned up. Plus, with the new Cylon Models page, links to separate Cylon craft can be found there. - frylock86 09:24, 5th December 2012 EST.

Article Deletion

This article has been set to be deleted. There is no point in listing all cylon crafts under one single page, when the colonial side doesnt have one article listing all of their crafts. as i have put them on the ships portal, which therefore all of the cylon crafts can be easily accessed, replacing the need for this page.--Lgamser 21:01, 9 June 2006 (CDT)

The portal is for quick navigation. Not for "info". If someone wanted to follow the "Cylon Series" (History), they would get to this page and have the option to view the main articles staied at the top of each section. Keep --Shane (T - C - E) 21:05, 9 June 2006 (CDT)

Cylon Ship Category

We then shoould create a new category for cylon ships, as the same with the colonial ships category to list all cylon ships under it. If we created that category, we then wouldnt need this page under the "cylon series".

If: Colonial Ships have own category; there isnt any page for the colonial like this. So: if we create a category for the cylon ships, we wouldnt have them in the cylon series. If you want to keep it, you could just make the cylon spacecraft a link the the cylon ships category.

We could also make more categories under cylon or sub categories for cylon models (human numbers and mech.), etc.--Lgamser 21:14, 9 June 2006 (CDT)

Organic Cylon Crafts

Are the interiors of Raiders, Basestars, etc. truly "organic"? I got the impression that they were synthetic; machines so advanced on a microscopic level that the overall "machine" is a "bio-chemical machine" rather than "organic". I'm not sure on this so I don't want to make any "demands", but I would like to say that I'm worred that calling it "organic" would lead to confusion that they're somehow Cyborgs; I think they're more a step between purely mechanical Centurions and humanoid Cylons. Perhaps "bio-mechanical" is a better term? Discuss. --Ricimer

It's really just not very clear. I think using "organic" to make a point in opposition to "mechanical" is fine, but since we don't actually know whether or how those two elements interact, I'm a little averse to anything else. --April Arcus 21:50, 30 December 2005 (EST)

Heavy Raider Centurion Capacity

I was just wondering what the source for the figure 10 is; it appears unsourced with a "(?)" in the article proper, so it should probably be mentioned there, as well. My justification for at least 5 is a count of the lights at the end of Scattered and the number of Centurions on Kobol guarding the SAM site. It seems like there might easily be room for more if they were packed tighter, but exactly 5 twice seems like it would indicate standard practice, at least. --CalculatinAvatar 23:31, 30 December 2005 (EST)

Sorry, but they say on screen in "Valley of Darkness" that there are 10 Centurions on the ship. We don't see them all at the same time (effect budget) but they say that. --Ricimer 00:26, 31 December 2005 (EST)
Actually, they don't; sorry. I think we shouldn't go just on number of red eyes in shadows, though. They mention at least 6; 2 final ones, one shot at the beginning, and they mention 3 more being destroyed.--Ricimer 00:34, 31 December 2005 (EST)

"Support Craft"

I recall Admiral Cain mentioning something to the effect of half a dozen support craft with the cylon fleet around the resurrection ship. Has there been any indication on screen, or from the creators, of the nature of these ships that anyone has noticed or read? --Tungsten 15:21, 24 April 2007 (CDT)

No. Could be anything. Tylium refineries, tankers, food for the skinjobs, factories. --Serenity 15:25, 24 April 2007 (CDT)
Probably all of them. We know two support craft for sure: a Cylon Reconnaissance Drone and a Cylon freighter (RDM). As to the others we can only guess. I personally like Adama's suggestion of a Raider factory. --Catrope(Talk to me or e-mail me) 15:45, 24 April 2007 (CDT)
