::From a nationalistic perspective you'd be right, but Canadian English and American English are very different things, and Park's accent is clearly more American than Canadian - she exhibits none of the distinctly Canadian features such as Canadian raising or the Canadian vowel shift. If you disagree, and think her speech exhibits Canadian patterns, then by all means let me know, but it is important to distinguish between Canadian English (a specific accent) and English as spoken by Canadians, which can be of many varieties. --Peter Farago 20:04, 8 October 2005 (EDT)

Since you change your user page often, and I really liked your "History of the Colonies" thing, would you allow me to put old versions of your user page in User:Troyian/History, User:Troyian/Religion, etc.? Does Grace Park really have a canadian accent to your ears? --April Arcus 04:22, 8 October 2005 (EDT)

I wrote that she has a Canadian accent for the simple fact that she IS Canadian, therefore it's ridiculous to say she has an American accent. -- Troyian 19:21, 8 October 2005 (EDT)
From a nationalistic perspective you'd be right, but Canadian English and American English are very different things, and Park's accent is clearly more American than Canadian - she exhibits none of the distinctly Canadian features such as Canadian raising or the Canadian vowel shift. If you disagree, and think her speech exhibits Canadian patterns, then by all means let me know, but it is important to distinguish between Canadian English (a specific accent) and English as spoken by Canadians, which can be of many varieties. --April Arcus 20:04, 8 October 2005 (EDT)

User Page

While you are, as always, free to do what you wish with your user page, I just thought I'd point out that it is also possible to create subpages of you user page. You've written some pretty extensive stuff, but it doesn't leave any room for a "normal" (if such a thing exists) user page. All you would need to do would be to create a User:Troyian/History (or whatever you want to call it), kind of like User:Steelviper/Ads. Just a suggestion. --Steelviper 09:23, 9 February 2007 (CST)

Since you change your user page often, and I really liked your "History of the Colonies" thing, would you allow me to put old versions of your user page in User:Troyian/History, User:Troyian/Religion, etc.? I ask you this because we at BSWiki have a policy of not touching other people's user pages. --Catrope 06:49, 24 February 2007 (CST)

History and religion are up. Whenever you change the subject of your user page, just drop me a note and I'll archive the old one for you. I've also had the boldness to add a link to a list of archived versions to your current user page, if you don't like it you're free to remove or tweak it, as it is, of course, your user page. --Catrope 06:39, 25 February 2007 (CST)

the AND character

Cylon War
