Career

Stock began his professional acting career in the late 1970s. His role as Cadet Cree in Battlestar Galactica marked one of his early television appearances in 1978.[external 2] In "The Gun on Ice Planet Zero", Cadet Cree is part of a Viper recon patrol accompanying Starbuck and Boomer when they encounter the deadly pulsar weapon on the ice planet Arcta.[external 3] After Cadet Bow and Cadet Shields are killed by the pulsar, Cree is forced down by Cylon Raiders and captured, leading to a rescue mission by Starbuck later in the episode.

Following his work on Battlestar Galactica, Stock appeared in the 1980 CBS television miniseries The Contender as Brian Captor, appearing in multiple episodes of the five-part drama about Olympic boxing.[external 4] He portrayed the brother of the main character Johnny Captor, played by Marc Singer, in this Universal Television production that aired from April to May 1980.[external 5]

Stock's most notable film role came in 1992 when he appeared as Bob in the erotic thriller Poison Ivy, directed by Katt Shea and starring Drew Barrymore, Sara Gilbert, Tom Skerritt, and Cheryl Ladd.[external 6] The film was released by New Line Cinema.[external 7]
