Inclusion of Tamara

I don't believe that the current sources in Tamara Adama are adequate to include her in this family tree. She should be removed until official sources on the cast and plot of Caprica become available. --April Arcus 09:20, 13 December 2008 (UTC)

Tamara Adama is the daughter of Joseph and the brother of William. I don't see what the problem is. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 18:55, 13 December 2008 (UTC)
(1) Since this information has not been revealed in any aired episode to date, it constitutes a spoiler, and should not be included in articles like William Adama. (2) Since we cannot cite an aired source, we must cite some other official source. Neither of the two citations in Tamara Adama are official sources. --April Arcus 00:04, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Sister, you mean. -- Noneofyourbusiness 02:37, 14 December 2008 (UTC)
Yes, that's what I meant. That's what I get when trying to do multiple things at once. LOL -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 02:40, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

I've reviewed the issue. Firstly, the issue is that this is from a casting call, which itself is technically an official source, sine the casting call originates from the studio. While I do agree that "Tamara Adams" is a spoiler and shouldn't be included in William Adama's article—at least in its present form—it can be corrected with the use of the "spoiler text" syntax we have at our disposal. Also, if you need an official source to confirm this, then I can be that source, since I do have production access via the Auction. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 05:57, 17 December 2008 (UTC)

Since no one else nabbed it, I followed my own suggestion and placed the item in spoiler tag syntax on Bill Adama's article and removed the piece from his infobox, since the formatting was bad there. I had to remove it entirely from the family tree, since it didn't look right with the tags either. Won't have to worry about it till 2010 anyway. Minor Changes

We might want to include Ruth and reflect the fact that Tamara is older than William. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to manipulate the code for these templates. -- Noneofyourbusiness 14:53, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Agreed. If I don't get to it, smack me in the head with a wet, rotting trout. ;-) -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 15:06, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

Larry

Now we have to add him. -- Noneofyourbusiness 03:48, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Done. Now we just need to create an article for him. I'm still working through Rebirth, so anyone is welcome to start that article. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 03:58, 7 February 2010 (UTC)

Update needed

Update needed after the Willie/William debacle. I can't make heads or tails of the code or I'd've tried. Thanks! JubalHarshaw 18:33, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Deceased

Shouldn't everybody except Bill and Lee Adama be marked as dead (†)? The template has to be seen from after the end of RDM, so even if Sam, Larry, Joseph and Evelyn were still alive at the time of the fall of the Twelve Colonies (and dialogue from RDM suggests that Joseph, at least, was dead long beforehand), it's highly unlikely that any of them survived the Cylon attack. Or does the † mark only mean that we know how they died? —Josiah Rowe 00:57, 24 January 2011 (UTC)

I think we need to change it so that one (†) is for Caprica, and two (††) are for the re-imagined series. Thoughts? -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 02:09, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
I don't think the template needs to note deceased at all. Especially with it applying to all but two of them. All of them, from the perspective of the last minutes of Daybreak. -- Noneofyourbusiness 03:09, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
I suppose it keeps it simple. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate 03:35, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
