Debate Over, It Seems
My recent addition from TheFandom.com (kudos to Ricimer for being the first to spot this) confirms without further debate that there are twelve HUMAN models, and that the other Cylon spacecraft or bots we have seen are not counted. It firmly establishes that Sharon was never a true human, and none of the other models were either. We will still want to keep the arguments for and against this in the article as they were stimulating to read, but we need to truncate them down to Ron's official statement. --Spencerian 12:40, 9 November 2005 (EST)
- Thank god. For my part, I'd like to nominate this page for deletion. I seriously doubt anyone will ever find our arguments here enlightening. We can footnote the interview as a source where necessary to forestall further debate. --April Arcus 02:44, 10 November 2005 (EST)
- I've removed the now-wild speculation on spacecraft and added a delete tag and raised the interview up a level of order for emphasis. Fellow wikipedians. I will incorporate the argument and answer into the Humano-Cylon article today and slate this page for eventual deletion. --Spencerian 08:40, 10 November 2005 (EST)
- EXCELLENT. Yes, RDM has finally stated that A) There are 12 copies of Humanoid Cylons (Centurions don't count as a model, nor that silly original theory some had that "maybe 4 or 5 out of the 12 are "Six's" [I know, craziness]). And they aren't based on original people. ---->I would like to point out that I think Ellen Tigh can still be a Cylon: You see, RDM said he thought would be too much for one episode to say "Ellen Tigh miraculously survived and she is a Cylon!--->However, I think he just meant it would be too much "all at once"--->she could still be a Cylon, he just wanted to space that out.
- Further concrete evidence to "12 models of Humanoid Cylons": page 20 of "Battlestar Galactica: The Official Companion" (Titan Books, 2005), written by David Bassom, states that "there are now 12 models of human-appearing Cylons". Anyone else catch this? Well, it's pretty good and confirmed now. --Ricimer 14:49, 11 November 2005 (EST)

I agree, this page has outlived its purpose. Philwelch 23:50, 30 November 2005 (EST)
Countdown to Doomsday
The contents of this article appear to be incorporated here: Humano-Cylon. It's been over a month, but if nobody objects I'll delete this page (say, next Friday). --Steelviper 10:00, 6 January 2006 (EST)
