This article, as with other articles with familiar gages and other sensors seen in Vipers, do not necessarily correlate with their function in the fictional world. I would rather have these incorporated into the Viper (RDM) article or combined elsewhere. Better, in my feeling, to dispense with them altogether unless someone notes a point in an episode's plot where the gage is used to aid or hinder a character, antagonist or protagonist. Else, it's a "telephone" article--having little need on our wiki. We also know that joysticks exist in Vipers--but there's no need to write an article here in detail about it. I will say that, of the many near-worthless diatribes on the dials and widgets, this one has more merit to serve as something to counter the pseudoscience flight of other SF shows. --Spencerian 17:41, 21 May 2006 (CDT)
- I've seen the RCS mentioned on schematics and drawings of Vipers: I don't think the information should be thrown out, but yes, it should be merged with "Viper". --The Merovingian (C - E) 18:14, 21 May 2006 (CDT)
- Fine with me. --April Arcus 18:18, 21 May 2006 (CDT)
Deletion
I've already merged the entirety of this article into Navigation in the Re-imagined Series as part of a major cleanup and page size reduction. This article can redirect to the replacement. --Spencerian 08:04, 11 October 2006 (CDT)
