It's Barolay, not Barclay
The credits in the episode say "Barolay", further Bradley Thompson referred to her as "Barolay" on Battlestar Wiki:Official Communiques/Archive1#"Skin Jobs"--The Merovingian (C - E) 19:20, 12 August 2006 (CDT)
- It's werid. I check the website and it was werid. Can always revert... --Shane (T - C - E) 19:21, 12 August 2006 (CDT)
- I mean Barclay sounds like a more "normal" name, but it's a show set in space so who knows? I'm just saying, I saw this episode at MTR on a 40 foot high screen, and watching the credits said to myself "wow, it's clearly an "o" in there, it was scrunched on tv". Keep in mind that once the DVD's come out such quibbles over character names are a moot point. It's just that that episode credits and a writer called her the other version, so I'm not sure if this is another goof or what. She will be re-appearing in Season 3 so I hope that clears up then. --The Merovingian (C - E) 19:28, 12 August 2006 (CDT)
a member of the Caprica Buccaneers?
I don't think it was stated anywhere that Jean Barolay was a member of the Caprica Buccaneers. Samuel Anders had stated that their resistance was made up of Caprica Buccaneers and other survivalists up in the mountains. How do we know which group Jean Barolay was in? I don't think we do.--Straycat0 01:03, 29 October 2006 (CDT)
- We don't. Anders introduced us to a few of the C-Bucs in "Resistance", but we didn't meet Barolay until "Downloaded". --April Arcus 01:12, 29 October 2006 (CDT)
New category
Why not to introduce a new category "Death of the week"? --Akagi 11:13, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- Well, we can generate a category of "Deceased Characters"... the "Death of the Week" sounds just a bit too banal, plus it would be outdated very quickly. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 16:13, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- Ditto. I like the idea of Deceased Characters. Death of the Week.. man. That be like updating of BW:FA *cough* Frank *cough* Shane (talk) 17:39, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
- Besides, I think a better argument could be made for Natalie busting a cap in Psycho Six being the death of the week. I was sad to see Barolay go, but the writing was on the wall when she decided to go on the mission. She was the red-shirted (red-headed?) ensign. --Steelviper 18:33, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
Military Service
Just want to establish that Barolay is not part of the military at any point. She's still a civilian in "The Eye of Jupiter" and "Rapture" (as is Anders). In "The Road Less Traveled", she wears civvies on the "Demetrius", and in "Faith", she wears civvies on the basestar. The only scene of her in a uniform is in a pressure suit for her trip on board the raptor in "Faith". --April Arcus 21:17, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
