Talk:Gravity in the Re-imagined Series/Archive 1
More actions
This article comprises the topics on artificial gravity from a past larger article version of Science in the Re-imagined Series, broken out for later expansion and page size considerations. --Spencerian 08:08, 11 October 2006 (CDT)
Suggestion for cutting the article down
I'd like to propose getting rid of much of the material in this article. We know that Galactica doesn't use Constant Acceleration, or Tidal Forces because it conflicts with what we know about the show. There is no evidence for Galactica using force fields, space time manipulation, or a heavy mass for artificial gravity. Gravtiomagnetism may be more likely, but there is no evidence in the show for it either. How do people feel about keeping the removing all of the possible means of artificial gravity (except for spacecraft rotation as it is observed in the series), and replacing it with a more oblique reference about how artificial gravity works has not been explained in the series?--Michaels 21:04, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
- I'd be fine with that. -- Joe Beaudoin So say we all - Donate - Battlestar Pegasus 21:47, 27 June 2008 (UTC)
