Not Really a Place[edit]
Um, maybe it was me, but I thought Seelix was just using it as a term of her own, while the Cylons actually download in a Resurrection Ship--Sauron18 10:50, 14 October 2006 (CDT)
- Yeah, I immediately thought it was a figure of speech. They probably have download facilities, but I don't think it's really a city. I already edited the article to mention that --Serenity 10:51, 14 October 2006 (CDT)
- Maybe. It might seem logical, but then again, there is no ship in orbit. --Shane (T - C - E) 10:55, 14 October 2006 (CDT)
- There could be download machines in one of the buildings the Cylons constructed --Serenity 10:56, 14 October 2006 (CDT)
- Not necessarily. It's very possible that a Resurrection Ship is in orbit along with the Basestars. It would make the most sense, as a planet-side facility would be too tempting a target for insurgents. --Sgtpayne 10:58, 14 October 2006 (CDT)
- Yeah, Well we only saw a section of the planet, and saw only 2 basestars when we know there are actually 5 around the planet. Also, a Resurrection Ship doesn't have to be in orbit around the planet, it could be anywhere on a System and possibly beyond to download Cylons properly.

- And though it is possible they are using facilities on the ground, I'd say they most likely haven't built any for security reasons. I'm quite certain this was a simple term of speech, and suggest we change the article to say this instead:
- '''Download City is a term coined by Seelix to refer to wherever the Cylons on New Caprica download, be it a Resurrection Ship in orbit or a facility on the planet. (Exodus, Part I)
- What do you think?--Sauron18 11:01, 14 October 2006 (CDT)
- Looks very good :) --Serenity 11:02, 14 October 2006 (CDT)
It is just a figure of speech[edit]
In the BW:OC Bradley Thompson said that it's just slang. So no "probably" there. I'm sure there is a way to attribute that information to him and thus make it official instead of fan speculation --Serenity 08:34, 20 October 2006 (CDT)
- Just because she doesn't know what it is, that doesn't mean it isn't a city. But it's been completely reworded so that there is no mention of the word "city", so there's no problem. Noneofyourbusiness 12:41, 20 October 2006 (CDT)
We should delete this silly article. There's no point devoting an article to a silly figure of speech Seelix used once in one episode. Philwelch 19:35, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
- At the most, we should just include mention of it on the List of terms (RDM) page. --Talos 20:00, 22 October 2006 (CDT)
