List of Deleted Scenes - Blood and Chrome

This page lists deleted scenes that never made the final cut for any number of reasons. They may be found on a myriad of digital video releases, notably DVDs and Blu-rays, across multiple regions.

Jarheads and Their War Porn

This is considered a longer, extended scene as this scene continues after William Adama attempts to hit on Jenna McGavin, with color commentary from Nina Leothe, and has portions that made the final cut before Adama sees Galactica for the first time.

• After Leothe tells Adama to throttle down on "his stick," he makes a crack about never having a problem in that department vis-à-vis sex.
• A ruckus from a group of Marines at the other end of the compartment shifts the conversation, with Leothe giving the crack of "jarheads and their war porn," a term Adama professes unfamiliarity with. McGavin explains the term, and Adama goes to look closer at a cluster of Marines watching footage via a tablet.
• McGavin follows, making a crack on the Marines "whipping out their junk," while Leothe comments about McGavin having problems with marines and their "frakked up home movies." A marine, later identified as Strohmeyer, calls the women symps, prompting McGavin to note her record at "wasting more toasters than [he] has zits" on his buttocks.
• After re-seating themselves, Adama asks McGavin for her kill numbers: she doesn't keep track. She observes that Adama is a "real charger," and motions over to Galactica as it comes into view through a view port, noting that the battlestar will be the one to give him the action he seeks.

Nuggets

• William Adama, in a flight suit, walks through Galactica's hangar deck. A voice over reads from a passage of a letter written to Joseph Adama, where William discusses how fresh pilots are either called rooks or nuggets, and never by a callsign until they prove themselves. Off in the distance, he sees Jenna McGavin seated on a flight deck ladder, drinking from a bottle while surrounded by Deke Tornvald, Nina Leothe, and Tiu.
