Source?

Welcome to the wiki, Pokrface! I was looking over your first contribution in the latest episode article. While, as you may know, we support plausible speculation here, there is so very very little that we know of the medical side of the show that such a drug could have been stored on Galactica as well, even at its decommissioning, which doesn't support the final offloading of supplies, only its battle-ready ships and ordnance as shown in the miniseries. (Note that Galactica is a massive ship). Could you elaborate on your source or reasoning based on source? If there is no source, would you remove the item? I would normally do this, but I don't like blowing away a first-post today since it is logical, although it's not factual to the show. :) --Spencerian 22:17, 30 January 2007 (CST)

Thanks for the welcome. The supposition that the interrogation drug would be off-loaded during the decommissioning is tied into the nature of the product. If it's a weapon--materiel, like chemical weapons--it would have been taken off along with the rest of the materiel. If it's classified as medical supplies, likely its fate would be the same as the other medical supplies, which apparently stay during decommissioning. Either way, though, you're right that it's pure speculation. Pokrface 15:45, 31 January 2007 (CST)

Thanks for the clarification. Yep, it's pure speculation, although it kinda conflicts with the ordnance stores at Ragnar Anchorage. If they had to dispose of ammo, wouldn't those drugs go, too? Why would Ragnar have a cache of an experimental drug that probably has many secrets and a shelf life? There's just nothing shown to support it right now. Cool to think about, though. :) --Spencerian 09:38, 1 February 2007 (CST)
