I think that assuming that weight machine is specifically for simulating the force needed for a Viper's thruster pedal is rather silly. To me, that seemed to simply be a machine Starbuck was training on when Adama walked up and used it for that purpose. Orphan Status

Thruster Pedal Weight Machine
